Pink Neutral Nails

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Shell we Dance

A quick post today. Just want to share what nail polish I've been wearing lately. This is Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Shell we Dance. This is a pale sheer pink nail polish that is perfect for french manicure. It is also amazing on its own to give that 'your nails but better' look. With this one, you cannot expect to get full opacity tho. I think this colour is perfect for work and holidays as it will match everything you wear whatever the season. Nude nails are always in!

The Spring Appropriate Ombré

It has been a very long time since the last time I create an ombré mani. I find ombré manicure is the easiest and a never fail to impress kind of mani, but the whole cleaning up process is just nightmare. Anyway, I am back with one and this time I'm using some bright colours that are appropriate for spring. Yes! Spring is almost here and I'm really excited and the weather is getting warmer now actually.

NOTD: Mattified Essie 'Rock the Boat' and Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat 'Wool Lite'

So today I'm back with a very pastel-y and spring-y polish combo. I know it's autumn here, but pastel and brights for spring are currently the trend all over the world. I'm also not that kind of person who always follow the trend; I wear whatever I want (I'm rebellious like that).

For the base, I use Essie 'Rock the Boat', which is a pastel lavender-ish blue with periwinkle glitter shimmer to it. However, I find the shimmery effect is not very apparent, however it is a very pretty pastel nail polish. Goes on pretty sheer and patchy in the first coat, but evened out after three coats. Not the kind of formula I favour the most but it's manageable. Even though it is very pretty I don't think it suits my skin tone, so I have to do something with it.

For the top, I use Sally Hansen 'Wool Lite' which is a matte pink and white bar glitter in a clear base. There was a time where I'm crazy about Sally Hansen's Fuzzy Coat range. I still find them pretty though, it's just that they thicken up really quickly, I have one that I have to throw away because it gets really thick and unusable (sad). This one does get thicker so it's kinda hard to use, but still manageable.

Anyway, hope you guys enjoy my NOTD post. What do you think of this combo?

Polkadot and Matte Stripes

So I was trying out one of Sally Hansen's new nail polish line which is the Triple Shine ones. They are absolutely beautiful! When I first spot them I knew I need to get at least one of these. I like the packaging so much. The polish itself is really nice. Anyways, I won't bother you with the reviews. These polishes came out here like few months after I saw it first came out in the US. Therefore, there will be already a lot of reviews around the web.

This design is actually inspired from a bra. I really want to pose with it but hey, it will be very awkward and well... that bra has seen better days. Anyways I combine teal, black and matte top coat polishes for this design hope you like it.

Anyways, I just made a bloglovin account please take a minute and follow me there. Thanks

Inspired by Burberry Brit's Scarf

Hi Guys, I did this one quite a while ago but I forgot to put it in the blog. I like this mani, I think it is simple but effective. I really like to use that sentence. The design is inspired from Burberry Brit's scarf. OOH if only I have the budget I'd really like to get that scarf!!! Can't afford it, but can recreate it on my tips :D

What do you guys think?

Don't forget to like this post and follow me!

NOTD: Lime Crime Pastelchio and Sally Hansen Fuzz-Sea Combo

Hey Everyone! So nothing new today. I did feature these polishes before here and here. So I do not have to explain further about the beauty of these babies. So what I did today is combine both of them together. The result? Something very bright and summery. I love it!

Excuse my index finger, I accidentally hit a blender but it got better now and I can paint it YAY! I've been posting pictures of my right hand, but that won't do for now because my right hand cuticles have been super dry! I think mainly because I use too much cuticle remover. Not good!

Anyway, I finally got a chance to try my Lime Crime and I am excited about it. Previously I use it as an ombre so I'm not really sure about the application. So here goes, well it's not a bad polish, but I don't think this is the easiest polish to work with in my opinion. It's a little too thick for my likings I have to thin it with some nail polish thinner. Is it only me? Because I read other reviews, they say this polish is perfect. But other than that, I seriously love this polish. I like the brush. I really like the colour. Don't you think a bright pastel is super cool? Picture is three coats.

As for the topper, Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat in Fuzz-Sea. I usually wear this on its own and I've been looking for a perfect base for it and the perfect match has always been in my stash all along! How did I miss this?

Anyway, what do you guys think?

NOTD: Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat in Tight Knit

I am crazy about Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat range! I think they are so amazing! Super pretty, easy to work with and also affordable. Every time I wear it people would go "ooh I love your nails! Are those real nails?" I did a review about it here and you should check it out! What started from two fuzzy coat grew to four fuzzy coat and in the future I might get the whole range.

The shade I'm wearing is Tight Knit, an explosion of matte blue and white bar. It is beautiful, it looks totally high fashion over black. I think it looks expensive. Formula is great just like any other Sally Hansen polishes. It is super easy to apply. Note that when applying glitter topcoat do not swipe your brush! Simply dab it on your nails.

I prefer layering fuzzy coat over another colour. Why? The only problem with fuzzy coat is that it takes almost forever to dry and to get full opacity you need at least three coats and after that you will see your nails will become so much thicker. I am not one of those patient person that can wait until my nails are totally dry, I love nail polish but I'm just not that person who like to sit still and wait until it dries. Which is why a good fast drying topcoat is a must for me! That's the only downside but apart from that, this is amazing! Go to your nearest drugstore now and definitely try them out if you haven't.

Galaxy Nails

OK! I did this nails like weeks ago and uploaded it on Instagram. Can't do nail art at the moment because my hands are swollen for what reasons I don't even know. It looks so ugly when painted so I just leave them bare. Well let my nails breathe for a while.

I've always love galaxy nails look. It's not the easiest nail art to do. I mean it's just sponging the colours here and there, but the problem is what colour exactly? I've tried numerous times for this look, but unfortunately none of them actually worked out. However, this time I'm pretty pleased with how my galaxy nails turned out to be. YEAY

What do you guys think? Anyway I've been working on a better quality pictures. I got my Sony Camera back but seriously taking pictures from iPhone been so convenient to me that I forgot how to take pictures with actual camera. Do you guys have any idea how to do that? Please leave me a comment. Everytime I'm trying to take a pic of my nails it just blurred out and focused on the walls instead of my nails. Seriously super annoying. Here's a picture I took with my camera and polish I used for this mani.

Polish used: pink and purple from Kit Cosmetics 'Rock and Romance' minis, China Glaze 'White On' and Sally Hansen 'Disco Ball'. You see my problem here with cameras. Why is the picture so blue anyway? hahaha help me please?

Autumn Ombre

I know it's spring in another part of the world but this is Aussie and things didn't work that way. So instead of spring it's autumn here. So, instead of doing pastel manis, I am doing this earthy ombre nail art using my current favorite materials: gold foils!! They are not the easiest to work with but hey the outcome is really pretty! So here's the materials I use for this mani:

neutrals and gold

Right to left: Essie - Sugar Daddy, Sally Hansen - Peachy Keen, O.P.I- ,Sinful Colors - Nirvana

Anyway, I love how it turned out! Anything that is gold never fails to make a girl happy right? I did some ombre technique with sponge here and top it off with this sheer nude and gold foils and last but not least sandwich it with another layer of sheer nude polish.

What do you think? yay or nay?
