Paws and Claws Care Routine

Being a nail polish addict, it is inevitable that my nails get stained and weak over time. Therefore my paws need extra TLC to keep them looking healthy. I'd say my hand and nail care routine is really simple. Keep reading if you'd like to know my hand and nail care routine.

The Spring Appropriate Ombré

It has been a very long time since the last time I create an ombré mani. I find ombré manicure is the easiest and a never fail to impress kind of mani, but the whole cleaning up process is just nightmare. Anyway, I am back with one and this time I'm using some bright colours that are appropriate for spring. Yes! Spring is almost here and I'm really excited and the weather is getting warmer now actually.

I realised that I've been very naughty last month and bought too many stuffs as a lot of stores are cutting their price quite steep and I just can't miss good bargains. So I thought I will share with you some new polishes I got.

O.P.I Crystal Nail File

When it comes to nail care, I don't own a lot of fancy tools and potions as I find more tools in the market is not doing my nails any good in the long term. But we all agree that a girl needs to have a nail file handy to keep their nails looking neat everytime. Today we're talking about O.P.I Crystal File that has been my go to nail file for over two years now.

Toast Mani

I haven't post something for such a long time! So what I'm going to post some nail art I did about a month ago. I haven't post any because well, my phone is being weird and I keep all of my nail art photos there. I am learning how to use the camera, but no luck until now it looks worse than using my phone.

 



So the theme is toast mani and anything possible as  a topping. Got the inspiration while I was washing dishes and I was like hey, let's do this.

Anyway, I just bought the white polish from OPI it is called "Alpine Snow". I was like seriously? took me this long to grab this one? It is amazing, super easy to apply and no bald patches and all good stuff. I had serious problem with white polishes before they are just the hardest to work with.

So, what do you think of this mani?

OPI DS Magic

It's a little vintage nail polish post I guess. I reckon I put this polish as one of my all time favourite polishes, but I just forgot that I have this baby in my collection. And I feel bad... This polish is too beautiful to be neglected

 

This is OPI Ds Magic, they are slightly more expensive than regular OPI polishes but I can't complain. This is too beautiful. 

Cherry Blossom Nail Art

Hey guys, spring is just a month away and I'm super excited about it. I can't really handle cold. You see my hands and feet are like always cold anytime everyday. I think that is why my hands are swollen. Anyway I did a little spring themed nail art. Who doesn't love cherry blossom?

Favorite Polishes

OK! so this post is inspired from a page of my 'Wreck this Journal'. I loved this book a lot I spent a lot of time working on it and I had a lot of fun with it. If you see my Instagram (@septhyneriadi) you will see a lot of pics from my WTJ. There's this stain log page on the last few pages of this book and I've seen a lot of people putting their favourite nail polishes on this page and I was like 'why not?'. Nail polish have been my obsession for about a year and half now. I got 42 polishes and counting. I know a lot of people could have 10 times more than I do but since I have this page right now, so might as well just do it.

Yes, these sixteen polishes are my favourites. However, I love all my nail polishes equally. To be honest, there are some colours that I omit because they did not go well with other colours so... But I put my top five polishes up and that's what I want to discuss in this blog. It's gonna be a very long post if I discuss all 16 of them. And orders aren't necessarily mean they are on top of the list. As I said I love them all equally. Sorry that I can't post a swatch of them one by one.



First one is from Cirque called 'Tibetan Nights'. I've done a review and swatch of this polish in my previous post. If you read it you know how much I love this colour. This polish is gorgeous on its own.



Next up is from O.P.I's Designer collection. This beauty is called 'DS Magic'. Bought it on impulse from David Jones and until now it's still one of my favourite polishes. It's super beautiful when worn; a duochrome of blue and purple with shimmer super beautiful. I've tried capturing the beauty of this but sorry, my photography skill is not so good so it looks just like normal polish in pictures. But people, trust me this is a gorgeous polish O.P.I's designer series are slightly more expensive than their regular ones but hey it's worth it!



Next up is Butter London's Cheeky Chops. I think yellow is the perfect colour for my skin tone. So yeah, a yellow polish is a must have for me. Actually I just got this a week ago and haven't swatch it I've used up my previous polishes from O.P.I. I've worn this once just to try it out but haven't actually rock it. So many polishes not enough fingers.



By now you'll know I love blue, because next polish is from Picture Polish, it is called 'Tiffany'. I've been looking forever for a polish that looks like Tiffany and Co box but had no luck. I've tried a lot of shades from different brands but yeah. I'm so happy to finally found one. Plus this one is also the first indie polish I own and I'm happy about the quality and the colour.



I used this polish in my previous post for a tribal themed mani. This is Lime Crime's 'Pastelchio'. Usually I'm not so big on green coloured polish but I just can't resist this one! Look at the packaging! Darn cute! and the colour is amazing. Too bad it comes in a small bottle

Autumn Ombre

I know it's spring in another part of the world but this is Aussie and things didn't work that way. So instead of spring it's autumn here. So, instead of doing pastel manis, I am doing this earthy ombre nail art using my current favorite materials: gold foils!! They are not the easiest to work with but hey the outcome is really pretty! So here's the materials I use for this mani:



Right to left: Essie - Sugar Daddy, Sally Hansen - Peachy Keen, O.P.I- ,Sinful Colors - Nirvana



 



 

Anyway, I love how it turned out! Anything that is gold never fails to make a girl happy right? I did some ombre technique with sponge here and top it off with this sheer nude and gold foils and last but not least sandwich it with another layer of sheer nude polish.
