Aillen the Alien Nail Art

Aline the Alien
Whenever I'm bored at class I doodled a lot and I get ideas through this quite a lot. This nail art is a quite simple and I think it is pretty cute. I named her Aillen just for fun :P. I did her face on my middle finger and claws on my index and ring finger. I also did a very simple V's on my pinky and thumb just to bring the whole look together. I only used two polish for this nail art: Lime Crime Pistachio and L'oreal You Are Worth It. I hope you like this nail art :).

Essie Maximillian Strasse-Her with Gold Foils

Hi guys! Today I have a simple nail art for you. It is Essie's Maximillian Strasse-Her with some gold foils. I always love putting gold foils on my nails, it really gives an extra something something to the nails. It just looks gorgeous, especially with the added matte effect.

To achieve this look, first I apply two coats of Essie Maximillian Strasse-Her. It is important when doing your second coat, do one nails at a time. Before it dries apply gold flakes to your nails with fan brush. Don't forget to apply topcoat. I like to use two coats of topcoat as well as it might get a little bumpy.

So what do you guys think? Do you like a simple and effortless nail art?

NOTD: Lime Crime Pastelchio and Sally Hansen Fuzz-Sea Combo

Hey Everyone! So nothing new today. I did feature these polishes before here and here. So I do not have to explain further about the beauty of these babies. So what I did today is combine both of them together. The result? Something very bright and summery. I love it!

Excuse my index finger, I accidentally hit a blender but it got better now and I can paint it YAY! I've been posting pictures of my right hand, but that won't do for now because my right hand cuticles have been super dry! I think mainly because I use too much cuticle remover. Not good!

Anyway, I finally got a chance to try my Lime Crime and I am excited about it. Previously I use it as an ombre so I'm not really sure about the application. So here goes, well it's not a bad polish, but I don't think this is the easiest polish to work with in my opinion. It's a little too thick for my likings I have to thin it with some nail polish thinner. Is it only me? Because I read other reviews, they say this polish is perfect. But other than that, I seriously love this polish. I like the brush. I really like the colour. Don't you think a bright pastel is super cool? Picture is three coats.

As for the topper, Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat in Fuzz-Sea. I usually wear this on its own and I've been looking for a perfect base for it and the perfect match has always been in my stash all along! How did I miss this?

Anyway, what do you guys think?

Army Nail Art

Okay, So I blended my left index fingernail; ouch. So basically this means I can't paint on it. It tear all the way down to the middle so... yeah. I wish it could grow back quickly. So for the time being... I am not gonna do any nail art, simply because my right hand will be the star in pictures and I cannot do much with my left hand.

Anyway... I had a lots of nail arts I haven't post here. So today is a camo nail art. Always wanted to do this mani, but it's just so hard to get a great green camo nail polish. Finally got one from Revlon Colorstay range, it is called 'Spanish Moss'. Not usually a big fan of Revlon because they have this GREAT BIG bubble issues. Surprisingly, I kinda like this range. Ok I still have bubble issues but not as much; and I love the brush. What can I say?

What do you think? I think it is cute and perfect for fall or maybe it's the type of mani you would wear to an adventurous trip somewhere? And this mani is very easy to do.  After you paint your nails with camo-green nail polish, just wiggle and dab grey, black, yellow and brown. The good thing about this nail art is that you do not have to be neat or anything, it still look great.

Tribal Mani!

If you've been following my blog you know that I don't usually do intricate nail art. I wanted my nail art to be do-able on both hands so I have to keep it simple and easy. But I kinda went out of my comfort zone on this mani and I did this tribal mani. It's not perfect but hey spare me, this is the first time I do detailed nail art.

I drew the detailed part with black acrylic paint. Have you guys tried using acrylic paint to draw on your nails? I totally recommend that. They are cheaper (I got mine for about 2 dollars) and they are easier to control. Just a quick tip, don't mix acrylic paint with water because it makes them less opaque and you don't want that right?

I used ombre effect for a more dramatic look. Polish used are Lime Crime's Pastelchio and China Glaze's White on. It's impossible to do detailed nail art on my right hand so I left it simple with ombre effect.
